Michael Turner

Michael keeps our facilities clean and safe, inside and out. He also helps us offer hospitality to parishioners, neighbors, and visitors by setting up and breaking down spaces for meetings and events, monitoring our parking lots, and being available as a host and resource for outside groups who use our building.

Mike grew up in Charlottesville and graduated from Charlottesville High School. He is an avid sports fan and a passionate supporter of his hometown Cavaliers. To describe Mike as a “regular worshiper” at the Islamic Society of Central Virginia would be a considerable understatement; since joining the mosque in 2007, he has only missed Friday prayers twice. Since joining the St. Paul’s staff in 2019, Mike has felt embraced by the parish community and has come to love the people of St. Paul’s.
