Nursery

The St. Paul’s nursery welcomes infants, toddlers, and children kindergarten-age and younger. Nursery care is available from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. every Sunday in the lower level of the Sunday school wing. Your child will be happy and safe with our warm and wonderful nursery staff. Newcomers are always welcome!

Children of all ages are invited to worship with us on Sunday mornings. Nursery-age children are equally welcome in the nursery and in worship – whatever works for your family works for St. Paul’s.

For more information about our nursery, please contact the church office at 434-295-2156 or office@spmcuva.org.

Sunday School

We have three Sunday school classes.  All classes meet in the Sunday school wing every Sunday from 11:15 to noon. No need to sign up in advance.

  • Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade – A play-based, imagination-rich introduction to Bible stories through the Montessori-based Godly Play curriculum.

  • 2nd and 3rd grades – A more advanced version of Godly Play, with lots of “I wonder . . .” questions.

  • 4th and 5th grades – An arts-enhanced study of the lectionary with Living the Good News curriculum.

For more information about our children’s & youth programming, please contact our Children’s & Youth Ministries Director, Peyton Williams, at 434-295-2156 or p.williams@spmcuva.org.
