Martha Loach

Martha is responsible for managing the church’s financial recordkeeping, including posting to the financial accounting system, updating parishioner giving records, and processing our payroll. She manages bill payments and produces financial reports.

Martha grew up in Charlottesville and at St. Paul’s where she was always a member of the choirs. She graduated from UVA with a BA in Music. After college, she moved to Michigan, worked at General Motors, and graduated from Wayne State University with an MS in Nutrition and Food Science. She spent several years in Belgium mothering her 3 small children: Katherine, Annie, and Emily, before returning to Charlottesville in 2005 to raise them in the best little town for raising children. She has since learned bookkeeping and tax accounting and has worked as St. Paul’s Financial Secretary since 2014. Additionally, she works part-time as a tax accountant at McCallum and Kudravetz, PC and manages her own bookkeeping and tax accounting business: Accurate Books of Charlottesville. Martha is the daughter of Donald Loach, Choir Director Emeritus of St. Paul’s, and Anne Loach, who served as St. Paul’s Financial Secretary for many years.
